Clark County commissioners approved a lease-to-own deal with Konecranes Region Americas that allows the growing company to purchase the agricultural building for $787,000. The 2-1 decision to approve the deal Tuesday and terminate a previous lease agreement came during a contentious meeting in which County Commissioner David Hartley called the deal illegal because county officials didn’t allow other companies to bid on the building. “We could wind up with no sale and no lease,” Hartley said.
