Clark County Fair officials have asked county commissioners for more than $530,000 to pay for safety and pavement improvements to the fairgrounds. The majority of the money is needed to redo asphalt at the fairgrounds, which hasn’t had any major pavement work done on the property in 17 years, Clark County Fair Director Allan Hess said.
