A local attorney has taken the first step to file a taxpayer’s lawsuit against the county on behalf of area residents concerned about a recent lease-to-own deal for Konecranes to purchase the former county agricultural building. Attorney Doug Geyer sent a letter to Clark County Prosecutor Andy Wilson dated Oct. 10 asking him to review the agreement on behalf of 15 to 20 of his clients concerned that county commissioners violated the law when they sold the agricultural building without allowing others to bid on the property.
